Ben Howard and Ryan Moesel take a break on the Coppermine River Trip in 2010. Spray covers keep the rain out of the canoe. They also trap a little heat and reduce the profile of the canoe in strong winds. With rain jackets and PFD's on, Chippewa canoeists stay safe, dry and warm. I vote for that!
I vote for another summer of adventure in 2013.
Bowman Bo Norris scouts the way and looks for the best route. What is around the next bend?
Ryan Moesel is grateful. The spray cover keeps the chilly Coppermine water out of his canoe!
